SSSTS Training (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
The Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course is recognised as being the course which meets the needs of construction site supervisors. The course is for managers/supervisors who are likely to be entering into a supervisory role. The course covers the need for risk assessment in the workplace, implementation of appropriate control measures and adequate communication. Ongoing monitoring to provide and maintain correct standards of health, safety and welfare on a building site is necessary and is covered in detail.
The SSSTS course will ensure that candidates have an overview and understanding of their responsibilities in respect of supervising and assisting in the management of safety in a construction site environment.
