What is PPE?
PPE, or Personal Protective Equipment, is equipment that will protect employees against health or safety risks at work. PPE includes items such as safety helmets and hard hats, work gloves, eye protection, high-visibility clothing, safety footwear and safety harnesses.
Although hearing protection and respiratory protective equipment are not covered by the same Regulations as there are separate, more specific regulations that applies to them. It is important that, these items are compatible with any other PPE provided. [Read more…]
